How I’m Losing Weight -Fitness

A couple of weeks ago I talked about what I have been eating to lose weight. It’s not for everyone, I eat basically the same thing every day, it’s a simple plan that allows me to know exactly what’s next and that is extremely easy to follow. There’s not much prep to do.

What about exercise? Honestly, I’m a lot less strict. I have a Fitbit Alta (among other trackers) and I do try to get my 10,000 steps a day, but I also try not to worry too much if I don’t make it. I have a desk job, but we have a gym in my building so I try to go for a walk on the treadmill almost every day. I walk quickly, but I don’t usually run. I also do some simple body weight exercises from YouTube focusing on my arms, waist, legs and bum.

These three are my favourites. They’re done by a fellow Canadian (yay!) Taylor R living in Japan, and she’s super cute! There’s a good chance you know who she is, but these videos are a bit older so if you haven’t seen them, check them out. I run through all three of them after my walk, they’re challenging, but not too hard for a beginner, and if you skip the intros you can be done in about 15 minutes!

And that’s about it! I do this five days a week, but I do skip a day here and there because… life. And anyways, weight loss is about 30% exercise and 70% diet. And I know my diet game is strong.
